Here at Koh Phangan Realty, we are a mix of nationalities. The core of our little company is myself (English) and my Thai wife, Rachanok ‘Beer’ Pradittera. In addition to this, our core, we have other resources such as architects – Canadian, French, and Thai, South African surveyors (now that’s a big country to survey), and also mostly Thai subcontractors. For more demanding legal work we have associated Thai lawyers based in Koh Samui and Bangkok.

My name’s Anthony (or Tony) Squibb, the owner and manager here at Koh Phangan Realty.
I am from England but I have been in Thailand (Koh Phangan to be precise), since 2003 (yes! really!). Wow! That’s 39% of my life (@2023), it’s amazing when I look at it that way!
I have been involved with the Koh Phangan real estate industry and before that bespoke Phangan design & construction projects. Prior to arriving in Koh Phangan I was involved in the building trade in the UK. My work in the UK was involved with buying old properties in need of renovation, renovating them, and then selling them on for profit. As this was also a self employed situation I have always been happy with setting my own deadlines and being self driven and motivated.
My Thai wife Beer is now an accomplished, if modest, creator of companies and work permits, licenses, as well as being capable of company changes and all things land related.
We have the skills to be able to change company directors, shareholders, company address, company name, and everything else that is possible to change within a company (and land plots too – upgrades and sub-divisions are no match for our talented team!) Beer also makes friends wherever she goes, be it Thai or westerners, and so she has very good contacts in many places.
Beer is self-taught, with a little help from her friends, and has a great ability to pick things up easily and can ‘think outside of the box’. So often needed in our little paradise island.
Our History
Over the last six or so years we have worked hard in making the company not only construction based, as it was for 9+ years, but also an agent for all types of real estate and business services. Having run a Thai company with over 40 employees for more than 8 years we thought we would extend the benefits of our experience to others looking to do business here in Koh Phangan.
Over the years we have built more than 14 houses in various areas here in wonderful Koh Phangan. For these builds we were the main contractor, actually employing and running our own teams, not just employing a sub-contractor as is the norm here. Koh Phangan Realty builds have stood the test of time and we are happy to say that all of our builds are still problem free and beating the ravages of time (more than I can say for myself, unfortunately!)

The financial crisis of the west hit us here in Koh Phangan (and Koh Phangan Realty) hard. In uncertain times the first thing to get cut from the budget is the (very) nice but nonessential second home in Koh Phangan. However, we braved the storm and we are now enjoying the resurgent popularity of Koh Phangan around the world.
Today’s Koh Phangan is more popular than it has ever been during my 20 year stay. Visitor numbers are up year on year regularly. Customers are buying many plots of land for various business and personal uses.
